If you played on April 11th, you are in by default and just have to "Opt In". First in.... the first 24 in will play.

If pickleballbrackets.com states the event is FULL, register on this page to go onto the wait list. Players will be moved in as there are openings.

Before players provide feedback about their standings - Be aware - This league is based of your "Club Standings", first, then tournament play, then your self determined rating.

This supports most club members, as not all league players play in tournaments.

As a reminder, log in to http://pickleballbrackets.com >
- press the top right blue box with 3 bars, this displays your name at the bottom of your phone screen,
- press My Stuff.
- Using your finger scroll on the screen down to the Red box, which has Leagues on it.
- If you press "All Sessions" and scroll down you will also see Session 5 - 5 games. You will see an option "All Session Game Days". You can register early by pressing the date XX THU 6:55 AM, this will allow you to opt in for the first session.

How Session 5 will work:

1. Pay via the Noosa Leisure Centre  [ link - PAY NOW ]  https://nlconlinebookings.as.me/ThursdayNoosaPickleballclub  A list of registered players is shared with the NLC to ensure everybody pays the NLC.

2. Opt in via clicking the "date" on the my schedule page or wait, the opted in button will work later in the week. The first game has opened early. Register from today.

3. If the League is FULL (meaning there is 24 players), Register on this page and players will be moved in as there are openings.

The more advanced players that register and opt in to play, the more competitive the play will be.

Ratings:

• When you enter the league, your "Club Member Standing" in pickleballbrackets is used first. If you are new to the club then, pickleballbrackets will use your tournament rating in pickleballbrackets and then your self selected rating. Note:  you may be moved to a group suitable to your level of skill if your self selected rating is high. The default is to join the league at the bottom of the table and work your way up.

Each week: ​

• Pickleballbrackets determines your club rating, based on the results of you and your partner vs your opponents. If you do better than the predicted score (Think DUPR), you will get additional part points on top of what you get for the win.
• If you lose, then a part of a point is deducted. This is why some players move up quickly. The system believes they shouldn't be winning games, however they have a "hot" streak and win many games against better players. Therefore, they will jump up a few standings.
• Similarly, you may win your pool one week and have a poor session and lose a number of games that you should have won, and you will slide down the standings quickly.
• Winning in the league is based on consistency of play within the League.

This session any one off  "visitors" are welcome at any sessions other than the Thursday League day.
