EVENT WAIVER AND DECLARATION
Noosa Pickleball Club — Coaching Clinic | Friday 10 July 2026

By replying 'I agree' to this email, I confirm the following:

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I understand that participation in pickleball coaching activities involves inherent physical risks, including the risk of injury from physical exertion, falls, collisions, and equipment use. I voluntarily accept these risks.

2. MEDICAL FITNESS
I confirm that I am medically fit to participate in this activity. I am not aware of any physical condition, injury, or medical advice that would prevent me from safely participating. I accept full responsibility for my own health and fitness to participate.

3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release Noosa Pickleball Club, its committee members, volunteers, and coaching staff from any claim, loss, or liability arising from my participation in this event, except where caused by their negligence or wilful misconduct.

4. SKILL LEVEL DECLARATION
I confirm that I have registered for the session that accurately reflects my current playing level. A DUPR rating is not required to participate. If I hold a current DUPR rating, I confirm it falls within the range for my selected session (Intermediate: 2.5–3.49 / Advanced: 3.5–5.0). If I do not hold a DUPR rating, I confirm that I have honestly self-assessed my level and selected the session that best matches my ability. I understand that accurate self-assessment ensures the best experience for all participants in the group.

5. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA
I consent to NPC photographing and filming the event for use on NPC's website, social media channels, and newsletter. If you do not consent, please advise in this reply and we will note your preference.

6. REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
I understand that:
- Sessions require a minimum of 4 registered players to proceed. If my session does not reach minimum numbers by 6 July 2026, I will receive a full refund.
- In the event of wind-driven rain, NPC may cancel one or both sessions. I will be notified by email by 8:30am on 10 July 2026 and will receive a full refund if my session is cancelled.
- Outside of these circumstances, registrations are non-refundable.

7. GOVERNING LAW
This waiver is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and is subject to the Civil Liability Act 2003 (Qld).
