The club has responsibilities to ensure that only Club members and PAA members use the new venue due to insurance purposes. The club has a hire fee to pay the council per hour for use.

After conversations at the committee level, the club committee decided to keep the fee at $8 per person for a 2hr session on a court. 4 members and one court $32 for the 2hrs. The fee is determined by the court booking and time. A typical 2-hour session over 2 courts matches the $8 social session fee at the NLC).

There are two systems in place until PAA provide a platform that allows a court booking system. The two systems are:

Pickleplanner for individual session bookings

• Club Members can book up to 7-10 days out. This system allows the first person booking to pay the fee, and invite other club members.
• pickleball planner collects payments via credit cards.
• The calendar displays available dates and times.

Spond app - Social or Beginner Sessions

• Spond allows payment by person for the event There is the ability to view who is attending prior to making your decision to accept or decline the notification of a session.
• The social sessions maybe "All", "Advanced", "Intermediate", "Established Beginners".
• spond collects the payment for the session.
• spond accepts payment by credit cards.

After the AGM there will be a demo of how to book the courts for individual play.

REFUNDS

• pickleball planner: If you cancel your booking there may be a small transaction fee taken when performing the refund.
• Spond: please advise prior that you can't attend and advise when you can next attend, to have your payment transferred to that session.

Privacy and Data Collection

• No credit card data is collected - the payments are managed by either stripe or square financial transaction systems.
